Safire® has more than 20 years experience in the fire protection Industry. We work closely with contractors, architects, local authorities and building owners to bring you the correct solution to protect your valuable buildings.
Our products have been used on many large scale, high profile projects in Ireland such as Dublin Airport and Amgen Pharmaceuticals.

Fire Sleeves
Fire Wraps
Safire Intumescent Pipe Sleeves are a cost effective product for the stopping of pipe penetrations e.g. plumbing pipes and metallic pipes, whilst maintaining similar thermal and acoustic properties as standard mineral fibre insulation. These properties ensure compliance with Water Bye-laws and Building Regulations for cold and hot water pipes and heating systems.

Safire Pipe Sleeves have been designed for simple, fast installation, and can be quickly fitted to the pipe and slid into the penetration without the need for mortar, mastic or support.
In a fire situation the sleeve expands to fill the available space between the pipe and the penetration. In the case of plastic pipes the sleeve will crush and close off the pipe forming a solid char and preventing the passage of fire and smoke to the adjacent compartment.
Fittings available to fit all popular pipe sizes from 15mm to 160mm diameter.
Sleeve wall thickness typically 25mm.

Electrical Socket / Acoustic Fire Protection
Safire® Socket/Switch Box Putty Pads are an easy to apply fire and sound rated sealant supplied as a non-setting putty. The pad is hand workable, reusable and reserviceable due to its non-setting properties.
Maintains the fire protection performance of the wall- preventing or delaying the spread of fire for up to 120 minutes.
A simple and easily fitted alternative to switch or socket covers with up to 68db sound reduction.
Fire Curtains
Fire Rated Expanding Foam
Fireus Fire Rated Expanding Foam is a polyurethane based product which sets into its elastic form by using moisture present in the atmosphere. It is suitable for filling gaps around window and door frames, backfilling around service penetrations and filling irregular or awkward gaps. Pyroplex® Fire Rated Expanding Foam expands up to 40 times its original volume.
Fireus Fire Rated Expanding Foam is fire rated up to 2 hours and offers excellent adhesion to many common building substrates and once cured the foam can be cut, sawn, painted or plastered over.
Fireus Fire Rated Expanding Foam is tested to BS476 Part 20:1987 and other International Standards.
Suitable for:

Filling gaps around door and window frames.

Backfilling around service penetrations.

Filling irregular or awkward gaps where the foam will expand to completely fill the cavity/void.

Floor Fire Protection Solutions
Single Membrane Integrity Only Fire Barrier
Cost effective, lightweight fire barrier for up to 1 hour compartmentation of voids and above fire rated walls where integrity only is required.
Lightweight Fire Barrier
Cost effective, lightweight fire barrier for up to 2 hour compartmentation of voids and above fire rated walls where insulation and integrity required.
Fire and Cavity Barrier.
The ONLY fully tested product giving 1 hour integrity and 20 minutes insulation in one 50mm layer!
Fireshield Total Comfort can be used as a half hour fire and cavity barrier in a single 50mm blanket, or up to one and a half hours when two 50mm blankets are used together.
Expanding Foam
Specifically designed as a cavity fire barrier within buildings, Safire® Floor Edge Fire Slab can be installed horizontally or vertically and is suitable for cavity widths between 50mm and 400mm in both masonry and curtain wall constructions.
Safire® Raised Access Floor Barriers are purpose manufactured from rock fibre material to seal the void between a raised access floor and the floor slab, thus preventing the spread of fire and smoke within concealed floor spaces and at junctions between floor and walls.
Use to upgrade the fire resistance of timber floors to 90 minutes inegrity and insulation. Can be used with plaster and lath ceilings or where access is not possible from the soffit face.
